Transforming Ninja Stars

Funkmasters Kung Fu along with local rhythm masters Chupacabras will be playing 5 Points Music Sanctuary Thursday, February 28th. In partnership with the A.R.T. Program that operates out of the Sanctuary, 5 Points Music Foundation has commissioned 25 origami ninja stars hand-made by student artist Antonio Blake to sell at the show. A.R.T. (Assignment Ready Training) helps people with Autism Spectrum (ASD), Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Syndrome, Mental Health Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, and other developmental disorders find rewarding work, occupational training, or post-secondary education. A.R.T. participants use art and creativity to apply teachable hand skills such as stenciling, design, and painting and other concepts to decorate two and three dimensional objects. Finished works are the property of the student and can be kept or sold through consignment or other methods. The student negotiates the transaction and earns all the income. Please support the students in this vital program by purchasing a Ninja Star for just $5 at the ticket link below.
