5 POINTS MUSIC BENEFITS: SHE performing for S.A.R.A Roanoke

As part of 5 Points Music’s role in supporting our artists and regional organizations, on the 2nd Wednesday of each month we will host a fundraiser for an organization or cause selected by the performing artists themselves. All ticket proceeds will go directly to the organization chosen. This event is made possible by the support of our staff and the bands who agree to donate their time and energy to support a cause that means something to them.

This Wednesday, February 12, 5 Points Music Benefits presents The She Collective in a benefit for SARA Roanoke. $10 a ticket, mid-week benefit; the second in our newest series bringing us all together in a way that benefits others, and ultimately, us all.

SHE is a group of woman, nonbinary, and gender-expansive songwriters in the Roanoke Valley, and neighboring areas, who strive to uplift each other’s work, and create safe and supportive spaces for original work by marginalized voices.

SARA (Sexual Assault Response and Awareness) is the sexual assault crisis center for the Roanoke Valley. All services of SARA are free of charge, confidential, and voluntary.
